Make Room at the Inn

Make Room at the Inn is our newest campaign to raise funds for emergency shelter and case management in Wabash County. We at HAWC are hoping to partner with as many organizations in the county as possible who can educate and fundraise to help us Make Room at the Inn.  We have the funds to provide 3 rooms for a year, but an additional 10-12 families are waiting their turn.  And even though 19 families were able to move from one of those rooms into transitional or permanent housing in the first six months, the list has not grown shorter.  The need is great.  A month’s respite for each family can be purchased for $900.  Join us in strengthening our community by engaging with your group to “Make Room at the Inn.”
